Ashley Morgan
I have a home full of furry love! I love animals, having three cats, Rosie, Caesar and Abigail, a step-dog named Blaze, and a rabbit named after the queen of diamonds herself, Mrs. Dolly Parton.
I was born in Richlands, Virginia but grew up all around the world, spanning from Portugal, Minot, North Dakota, to Warner Robins, Georgia, as my dad was in the Airforce. Being from a military family is where I gained my loved for travel, meeting new people and my love for sports. Did I mention I was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and did in fact get to walk past Jason Witten at the Tri-Cities airport?
After graduating college, I felt the urge for small city living and moved to Johnson City, TN, not knowing that is where I would find the job that would shape me into the professional individual I am today. I obtained a job as a Paralegal for a very small but broad Law firm that practiced in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Arkansas. While there, I handled estate administration cases from start to finish, developed presentations for large business sales and succession and assisted clients with the asset transfer process to be sure that all of their assets were properly affiliated with their living trusts. Working at my first law firm helped me discover the areas of law I was passionate about. That experience also helped me to understand the old saying “if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life!” I truly enjoy working as a paralegal and being able to assist those who need legal assistance, especially as its relates to estate planning and probate.
About two years ago I met my soon to be husband, who is also an animal lover and die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. It was a match made in heaven, if I do say so myself. Together, we love to be outdoors and take random roads trips. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is still the top road trip we have taken so far. I would like to eventually take him out West to experience Medora, the Lewis and Clark Trail, the Crazy Horse Monument, and Mount Rushmore.
In my personal spare time, I love to make jewelry, attend craft shows and spend time with my family. I also occasionally like to read a good book to keep the mind sharp.
