When I was growing up in Collierville, Tennessee, I had always wanted to be a mom of five kids. I was raised in a large, blended family, and I have always loved the excitement and bustle of a full home. Now I have six children, ranging from ages thirteen to one year old. I also have and two fur babies, a dog and a cat named Daisy and Oliver. Needless to say, my house can be chaos sometimes, but I love it!
I graduated from Collierville High School in 2009, and afterwards I completed a couple of semesters at my local community college, but ultimately decided not to continue with college until I could decide on a major. I landed a job working as a receptionist for four companies, one of them being a boutique law firm that specialized in estate planning and probate. That firm had lost their paralegal, so I started helping out whenever I could, eventually becoming a full-fledged legal assistant. While working with this firm, I realized that I was truly passionate about the law and helping others plan their estate or deal with the loss of a loved one. After a while, I decided to go back to college to pursue an education as a paralegal. This transition was a huge deal for me because I was a single mom and working a full-time job. I graduated with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies with a focus in litigation from Southwest Tennessee Community College, an ABA approved program. I loved every second of the program and made lifelong friendships. I even made the Dean’s List a couple of times!
While in college, I met my then boyfriend, Alex, through a neighbor. We fell in love and got married in 2019. In November 2021, my family and I moved to Centennial, Colorado. I switched job fields and began a career in the financial services industry, working as an office manager for Edward Jones. Although I enjoyed the financial planning world, I decided to return to the legal field which is what I truly love.
In my free time I like to go outside and enjoy the great outdoors. I love to hike, swim, fish, kayak, and camp. I also enjoy reading and live music. I am conveniently close to my most favorite activities, and to top it off, I am surrounded by beautiful views. On the weekends, my family and I venture out to the mountains to explore mountain towns, hike, and enjoy local restaurants and food.
