Madison Botsch
I moved to Nashville in 2016 to attend Lipscomb University and decided this would be my forever home.
I am from a small town in southern Illinois, so making the move to Nashville was quite the change! I love that I have the city feel for my daily life but can still make the quick trip back to my family’s farm.
My original plan after graduation was to pursue the fashion industry. While at Lipscomb I completed a triple major in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, and Strategic New Media Marketing with a minor in Event Planning. Once I realized the fashion industry was not truly where I wanted to be, I started looking for other career paths, which led me to a paralegal career. I completed my paralegal studies certificate at Duke University and loved every minute of it. I am someone that, if given the option, would be a full-time student for life. The paralegal world gives me the opportunity to always learn and grow.
I started my career working at a big law firm focused on corporate private equity deals with an emphasis on healthcare mergers and acquisitions. I gained an immense knowledge of the corporate legal field but felt as though I was missing client interaction. Joining the team at Crow gives me the opportunity to learn more about other legal fields and the client aspect of law.
Much of my time is spent seeing friends and family here in Nashville and at home in Illinois. In my free time, I love to read and travel. I believe both give you an amazing opportunity to learn more about diverse cultures and meet people who can change your viewpoint on the world. My biggest goal is to travel to as many counties as possible. Next on my list is Portugal!
I am also a dog mom to an adorable 2 ½ year old Cockapoo named Frankie. We laugh and say Frankie has not learned stranger-danger and will roll over for belly rubs from anyone who will say hi, making walks exceedingly difficult. Many of my evenings are spent playing hours of fetch and I am still figuring out how to have the same endless energy as an 11-pound dog!
