A Little About Me

A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, I was raised on Signal Mountain and attended the McCallie School, where I completed my secondary education and graduated in 1988. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

I come from a family with a strong legal tradition—my father, twin brother, and sister-in-law are all attorneys. My wife, Mary Stanley Grant, is a veterinarian and co-owner of a private practice.

Outside of my professional life, my wife and I share a passion for travel. In recent years, much of our time was spent supporting our daughter as she competed on the Wofford College women’s soccer team. Since her graduation, we have turned our focus to attending continuing education seminars and exploring new destinations together.
