A Little About Me

I am originally from Annapolis, Maryland where I learned to love historic cities and appreciate the beauty of being near water, specifically the Chesapeake Bay. I love the outdoors and exploring new areas whenever I move to a new place. I especially appreciate the challenge of turning off my maps and learning to drive GPS free as much as possible. I am looking forward to exploring Franklin and the surrounding Nashville area, particularly the nature parks and historic sites.  

In my down time I love a good book while hammocking outside, a peaceful coffee morning with family and friends, or a good run outside through a nature preserve or beautiful neighborhood.  

Journey to the Law

My journey into law, while a bit unconventional, is something I feel especially blessed to be a part of and grateful to have stumbled upon. In 2017, I became a licensed cosmetologist and moved to Naperville, Illinois because of my love of the Midwest. While trying to get my foot in the door in the salon world, I started working as an office assistant at an immigration law firm. I enjoyed my work at the immigration firm so much that I eventually gave up cosmetology to take on a full-time paralegal position with them, becoming their first full-time employee.

In 2021, I moved back to Maryland and accepted a paralegal position at an estates and trust firm in Annapolis. This is where I first delved into this specific area of law, learning firsthand what an honor it is to assist and walk with families and individuals during these important moments. In July of 2025, I made the move to Franklin, TN to be closer to family and am excited to begin my time as a paralegal here at Crow Estate Planning and Probate!
