A Little About Me

A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, I was raised on Signal Mountain and attended the McCallie School, where I completed my secondary education and graduated in 1988. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

I come from a family with a strong legal tradition—my father, twin brother, and sister-in-law are all attorneys. My wife, Mary Stanley Grant, is a veterinarian and co-owner of a private practice.

Outside of my professional life, my wife and I share a passion for travel. In recent years, much of our time was spent supporting our daughter as she competed on the Wofford College women’s soccer team. Since her graduation, we have turned our focus to attending continuing education seminars and exploring new destinations together.

Journey to the Law

After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, I attended law school at Western Michigan University, earning my juris doctorate. I returned to Chattanooga to begin practicing law, focusing my practice on estate planning, trusts, estate administration, probate, tax planning, and business succession planning. I’ve also handled a number of commercial transactions, real estate matters, and litigation cases.

After 29 years of practice at Grant Konvalinka & Harrison, P.C, I joined the team at Crow Estate Planning and Probate to open their location in Chattanooga, assisting in the firm’s expansion to East Tennessee. I’m excited to continue supporting my community by helping clients with their legal needs.
